2008 Summer Resident Camp Programs
Leadership Camp  (for grades 9 – 12, held June 15-20).  Learn outdoor and interpersonal skills and activities for leading groups.  Make lifetime friends and have fun!  Some of the activities for the week will be completing a high ropes course, leading younger campers in activities, swimming, tubing, canoeing and kayaking. $305.00
Senior Nature Camp (for grades 7-9, held June 15-20).  Use a compass, cook over an open fire, build a shelter, shoot a bow.  Go kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and swimming. Sleep out in nature.  $305.00
Archaeology Camp (for grades 4-6 held June 29 – July 4).  Learn archaeological procedures and dig at a mock site. Campers will participate in other activities such as canoeing, swimming, tubing, archery, hiking, and more.   $305.00
Junior Nature Camp (for grades 4-6, held June 29 – July 4 & July 20 - 25). Learn survival skills, go canoeing and tubing down the gentle currents of the Clearfork River. Go fishing and learn to clean and cook your catch over an open fire. Learn to use a compass and shoot a bow. $305.00
 Jr. Waterdrum Science Camp (for gifted students grades 4-6, held July 20-25).  The theme will be the Underground Railroad. Learn songs, take a canoe trip.  Swimming, tubing, and archery will be supplemental activities throughout the week.  Activities will stress science, math and language concepts.  $305.00

Sr. Waterdrum Science Camp (for gifted students grades 7-8, held July 20-25).  The theme will be the Underground Railroad. Grandparent & Grandkids Camp – Held on August 29 – 31. Especially designed for grandparents and their school aged grandchildren spending three glorious days in the out-of-doors. Fishing, hiking, campfire stories, crafts, and more. $200.00 for a team of two. $85.00 additional campers.

Family Camp – Held on August 29 – 31. Learn outdoor skills with your family such as canoeing, survival, outdoor cooking and more. $200.00 team of two. $85.00 for additional campers. All ages – youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 21 at all times.

About Mohican School in the Out-of-Doors Summer Camp … Camp this year will be at the Environmental Learning Center located at 5370 Bunker Hill Rd., Butler, Ohio.
