Scout Programs
The Mohican Outdoor School is opening it's facilities to Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups looking for new tent camping facilities or a dormitory facility. Tent camping, with campfire areas, is available at our Hemlock Falls Field Trip Center. A lagre porch for shelter and indoor restrooms are also availble at this facility. The modern dormitories at our Environmental Learning Center include restrooms, showers, and bunk beds. A shelter house is nearby for outdoor cooking. Our site is very near the Mohican State Forest, Pleasant Hill Lake, the Clear Fork River, the Richland County Bike Trail and Snow Trails Ski Resort. Additionally, we have compass courses, hiking trails, and Hemlock Falls. For an additional charge, MOS could provide nature and environmental programs, canoe and kayak trips and various scouting activities. Please contact our main number at 419-938-6671 for pricing information and scheduling assistance.
